Chicago Dumpling was born from a simple conviction: the best dumplings are made slowly, by hand, with ingredients that earn their place on the plate.

Located on Gilbert Avenue in Western Springs, our kitchen is where generations of dumpling craft meet the flavors of today. Every wrapper is rolled thin by hand. Every filling is mixed fresh each morning. There are no shortcuts here — only care.

We draw from the rich dumpling traditions of Northern China, adapting and refining until each bite feels both familiar and unexpected. The result is a menu that honors where dumplings come from while speaking directly to the way we eat now.
